How Our Odor Removers Work
Posted on July 28th, 2014Have a foul odor in your home? Here is how our Odor Remover and Odor Eliminator Products work:
Earth Care Products “Clear The Air” can be used to eliminate odors by simply placing a bag near the odor, or by sprinkling granules over or near the soiled areas. The great news is, Earth Care’s Clear The Air does not have to come into contact with the odor producer; it will pull the odors from the entire room.
Earth Care Products are ingredients are negatively charged and odiferous gasses ride on positively charged particles. Because of this negative and positive attraction Earth Care draws in odors like a powerful magnet.
The odors are adsorbed and neutralized without any cover ups or fragrances. The molecular structure of Earth Care consists of billions of microscopic pores, which gives it a large surface area (exceeding the size of a football field). This enables Earth Care to adsorb phenomenal amounts of odors!!
Earth Care does not cover up odors it literally clears the air, leaving the air fresh and clean with no odors or fragrances left behind.
Many of the odor and pollution control products on the market today act merely as masking agents. This means they add chemicals to the air to cover up odors and actually increase the level of indoor pollutants in the process. Earth Care, on the other hand, truly eliminates odors and cleans the air by adsorbing and neutralizing odors. Earth Care Products are especially beneficial to those that suffer from chemical sensitivity which can be aggravated by fragrances.
Earth Care is safe for Planet Earth. To dispose of Earth Care simply add to your soil, it is an excellent nitrogen soil amendment.

Howard – Sweet as sweet can be
Well, HELLO!
Thanks so much for checking in on us!!! Howard is fabulous and settling in rather swimmingly. He has become the apple of all our eyes!! He is a free roaming bun here in the Lilien casa – however he does have his little nook in my office. We’ve ordered him all kinds of gear that should be arriving any day so that his area is a bit more bunny official. In the meantime he chills with me in my office which will probably be his favorite spot of all.He is truly sweet as sweet can be. He loves his long, indulgent petting sessions – he’s taken to bunny purring!!! He’s been so amazing with and for our kids and just loves their company and their pets. We’ve taken him outside in his play pen and sat in the middle with him and he loves that! All in all I think everyone is pretty darn happy!!
Thank you all again for all of your help and support!!
Kisses,

Most pet parents enjoy their time spent playing with their hamster, gerbil or mouse through interactive small animal supplies, such as run-about balls or pet cruisers. A Happy Dog Adopted From The SD Humane Society
Posted on February 24th, 2014We love stories with a happy ending!
Especially when it involves animals! Check out this great happy ending story from the San Diego Humane Society about a dog, Milo, who was adopted by a sweet and loving family…he even has his own Facebook Page!
“He is my inspiration and gives me more joy then anyone could ever imagine!”
We adopted Milo a pug/ Chow Chow mix in 2008 from SD (Gaines Street) location and he has been the smartest most loving dog we have ever had.
He loves to go with us everywhere we go including our office. He goes to work every day.Milo even has his own tie for the office, but usually wears a simple bandana for a more casual look!
He enjoys just sitting in the car, thinks he is a pug and will try to climb on your lap. He has learned many tricks but his best trick is just the fact he loves to cuddle!
He was a groomsman in my sons wedding last year and even danced with guests at the reception. He is “The boss” like all the staff at the office like to call him and he loves every minute of it.
One of the artists at Kess Inhouse in Oceanside (Where Milo Works ) even created an Art piece of him and now others can enjoy his sweet face because you can buy it on home goods on Kess inhouse website and even direct from Amazon.
He is my inspiration and gives me more joy then anyone could ever imagine!

How To Care For A Pet Bunny
Posted on December 13th, 2013Did you know a rabbit can be trained to use a litter box, come when you call them and sometimes play tag with you?
Domestic rabbits make great pets and if well cared for, indoor rabbits can live for seven to ten or more years.
Clear the Air would like to share some helpful tips to caring for your bunny rabbit:
- Bunnies should be kept indoors in a cage large enough from him to move freely. If you have a wire cage, it is a good idea to cover the bottom with a piece of wood or corrugated cardboard since wire bottoms can ulcerate your rabbit’s feet. For bedding, you can use hay, aspen shavings or straw so he can make a cozy nest.
- Sprinkle Clear The Air at the bottom of their cage to eliminate any odors caused by your bunny. Our product is 100% non-toxic and safe even if ingested.
- Your rabbit’s diet should consist mostly of grass hay, such as timothy or brome. This helps keep his intestinal tract healthy and unlimited hay should be available at all times. You should also feed your bunny rabbit pellets that are of good quality. Fresh leafy greens are the third important component of your pet’s diet such as turnip greens, carrot tops, collard greens or dark leaf lettuces.
- Always have clean fresh water available for your rabbit.
- Rabbits will do their best to keep their living quarters clean as they are very clean animals by nature. They will usually choose one corner in their cage as their bathroom. To help litter train your bunny, once you see where his bathroom area he has chosen is, put a newspaper lined litter box in that corner. Fill it with pelleted newspaper litter. Don’t use pine or cedar shavings as these fumes can cause problems to your rabbits liver enzymes.
- Brush your bunny regularly and handle him often very gently and he will become a wonderful family pet!

- New Carpet: Some new carpets contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are emitted as gases when they are first installed. Sprinkle Clear The Air Odor Eliminator granules over entire carpet. Leave down 24 hours and vacuum. When granules are down it is best to have some ventilation in the room such as a window open. Clear The Air knows that when you purchase a new product, nothing helps to make your decision than from other people’s opinions. We would like to share some customer testimonials on our various products we offer:
My dog was at the losing end of a confrontation with a skunk. Before I realized it, he had run thought the house rubbing on everything. The odor was stifling. After using “Clear the Air” I noticed a huge improvement the next day. You have a great product. ~Lyle
Hi Pat, when I got home the package was there, yay! I put them in my stinky bathroom last night where we think a possum or some other creature has died in between our walls.. it has been horrible the last few days and we couldn’t afford to hammer the walls down to look for it…. my son says this morning it smells a lot better and he was surprised that your product works so well.. a day or two more we’re hoping it will be back to normal.. thanks again for a great product! ~Janet
LOVE your stuff! A “bonus” is when you vacuum up the granules, they stay in the vacuum and I no longer smell the dog every time I vacuum! When dumping the filter, I NEVER dump the granules! Vacuuming is now not a “smelly” job. ~Yvonne S.
I used your Odor Removing Granules and I have to say they work great! I have tried just about everything on the market to get rid of cat urine smell and nothing has worked like your product. ~Eileen I.
As VOCs relate to cancer, I am overjoyed that this takes them out. Everyone should get a kit when they buy a new house, paint a room or stain a deck. I actually used two socks filled with granules in the guest room after I painted with a “low” VOC paint…no smell by morning…fabulous- and healthy! Thanks. ~Scottie

How To Sell Your Home Faster
Posted on June 17th, 2013Clear The Air’s line of products can be used for pretty much any odor you come across.
We have helped many home owners and realtors sell homes much faster by eliminating pesky pet and cigarette smoke odors in homes.
We would like to share some tips to selling your home faster. Remember to use Clear The Air’s line of products to clear out any odors lingering in your home.
- Empty out your closets when selling. You can never have too much storage. Take half your stuff out of your closets and neatly organize what is left. Buyers will snoop so make sure all your closets and cabinets are clean and tidy.
- Maximize lighting in your home when selling. Take down the drapes, wash the windows and change the lampshades all to create more light in your home. Making your home more bright and cheery will increases the chances of it selling.
- Find a great real estate agent when selling. Having an agent who knows what properties are going on the market and knows the comps in your neighborhood will be key to making sure your home gets sold fast.
- Keep your pets away while showing your home. Not everyone is an animal lover and they don’t want to walk in your home smelling the kitty litter box or seeing pet fur on everything. This gives buyers the impression your home is not clean. If planning an open house, make arrangements to keep your pets somewhere else. Make sure to use Clear The Air on your litter box!
- Make quick fixes before selling, not major upgrades. If you do a huge improvement project before your put your home on the market, you may not get your money back. Small things like new door handles and clean grout are good to do before listing your home.
- De-personalize your home when selling. The more personal stuff in your home the less likely a potential buyer can imagine themselves living there. You may want to hire a home stager to maximize the full potential of your home.
- Sell your kitchen. Fixing up your kitchen will help increase your value tremendously. Anything from new cabinet hardware to new counter tops will make your potential buyer’s eyes light up.
- Be available to show any time when selling. Make sure your home is show ready at all times. You never know when a buyer will walk through the door. Keep dishes in the dishwasher, bathrooms sparkling and eliminate your dust bunnies.
- Make a good first impression when selling. Make a few improvements to your home’s exterior with shrubs and brightly colored flowers. Make the entryway clean and enticing. Stand in front of your house and ask yourself what could be improved so a first time visitor falls in love with the way your house looks.

7 Must Know Tips When Walking Your Dog
Posted on May 15th, 2013Dog walking tips for all dog owners.
Tired of your dog always pulling on his leash? Maybe you just got a puppy and want to teach him how to properly walk on the leash. Check out these helpful tips from the ASPCA.
- If your dog won’t stop pulling on his leash, try using a head halter. They give the walker more control and dogs are less likely to pull.
- Using an extendable leash is nice for walks in the park however it isn’t always safe to let your dog explore out of your reach in a high traffic area.
- If your dog likes to tug or bite on the leash a chain leash might be a good idea. Metal won’t feel as nice between their teeth as a nylon or leather leash would.
- Make sure your dog stays out of lawns and flower beds where insecticides and other chemicals may have been used. Bulb plants like tulips and daffodils can cause stomach problems for your canine companion. Make sure your dog doesn’t stop to smell or nibble the flowers!
- If another walker crosses your path, it is polite to teach your dog to have manners and sit while the walker passes by or pets your dog. Teach your dog not to jump on people.
- If you are taking a long walk make sure to bring water for your dog. Also bring treats for your dog to reward him for good behavior on your walk.
- Keep your eyes and ears open for dangerous critters such as snakes, bees and coyotes.
Do you have some suggestions for walking with your dog? We’d love to hear them! Please comment on our blog.
